BIBLE INSTITUTE HISTORY

The Bible Institute began as a Church healing school, using Charles and Frances Hunter’s teaching video and book "How to Heal the Sick.” In August 1998, the healing school developed into Tabernacle of Light Bible Institute (ToLBI), a Bible College & Seminary founded by the pastor, Rev. Dr. Veronica Muriel Bunch, using Rev. Dr. Paul Richardson's (President of Spirit of Truth Institute) "Bible School in a Box" teaching materials, which Dr. Bunch revised and now own.  On September 28, 1998, ToLBI received recognition letter from Virginia Department of Education granting permission to operate as a college and university under exemption laws for schools offering only religious education and training. The Bible Institute now offers Bible College and Seminary level courses, which enhances its foundational courses in Ministry and Basic Bible Study.  The school is accredited by World-wide Accreditation Commission, of Christian Educational Institutions, out of Richmond, Virginia.

MISSION

Provide quality, inexpensive courses and training, of a religious and theological foundation, in the area of Biblical Studies, Biblical & Christian Counseling, Christian Education, Ministry {Children, Youth, Christian, Men, & Women}, and Theology, with emphasis on Preaching, Teaching, Management, Administration, Leadership, Mediation, Ethics, Integrity, Character, Church Finance & Money, Gifts, Teams, Marketing, Worship, Spiritual maturity as well as academic, and intellectual proficiency to serve in their local church, religious organization, community and workplace.   See Focus, Purpose/Goal, Logo, Song, Colors below. 

LEGAL STANDING

Tabernacle of Light Bible Institute is a legal non-profit organization like an evangelistic association, operating under the umbrella of Tabernacle of Light Ministries, Ltd, which is a non-profit limited liability corporation in the state of Virginia, with authority to do business any where in the United States and abroad. The Institute is an establish-ment of Christianity, existing to serve the Body of Christ both lay members and those in the five-fold ministry (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers), who are gifts that our Lord Jesus Christ has and is still giving to the Church, as recorded in Eph. 4:12 "...for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."

PURPOSE

 Our purpose is to offer biblical education and training to those who wish to impact their Church and society. We recognize the urgency of training and equipping the body of Christ. Anyone laboring in the great harvest field today can see the world changing fast. We are living amidst a moral avalanche. America is fallen and judgment is falling. There is a Spiritual crisis in the social climate of all nations. This is the beginning of sorrows, the pre-tribulation days, the eve of the emergency of the Antichrist. This generation of Beasts followers are getting ready for their homosexual leader (Dan 11:37). Most of the world is headed for hell, and too many of them are in our churches every Sunday. Our purpose is to answer the call to provide educational courses, training & tools to equip current and rising leaders, to perform their calling, and to answer the calling ourselves, "to perfect saints for the work of the ministry."
